PUERTA DEL DIABLO

Puerta del Diablo is a known park with beautiful views, is famous to many El Salvadorians, and has a long history dating back to the El Salvadoran Civil War. Puerta del Diablo is located in Panchimalco, El Salvador, right on the coast of the Pacific Ocean, and neighbors the country’s capital, San Salvador. The park is also known as the “Devil’s Door” because of its dark past when people would commit acts of torture. The park has a cool, tropical climate and is affected by the wet season from May to October. The best time to visit this park is during March, when the weather is warm, and December is also the busiest time of tourists visiting but it tends to be dry throughout that time.
