Playa el Tunco beach is one of the most famous and popular beaches in all of El Salvador. It is located approximately 35 km. away from the capital of the country, San Salvador. Many tourists recommend that the ocean water is not great for swimming specifically because of the large and powerful waves. But it is a great visiting spot for those who are interested in surfing because of the waves. It is also recommended that taking a walk on this beach isn’t a good idea because of the immense amount of pebbles, which could be hurtful to walk on. Playa el Tunco is a great beach to visit because of the lovely sights, great for surfers, and has a great view.
